PSALM 2: The King’s Rule

How is the tone different to Psalm 1?

Go through the psalm and figure out who is speaking in each verse.

Psalm 1 and 2 both talk about the LORD and blessing. How do they complement each other?

Read Acts 4:23-31. ‘his anointed one’ is the same as ‘his messiah’ or ‘his Christ’. How does Jesus fulfil this psalm? Where do you stand with Jesus?

Today’s Prayer Suggestions

1. Pray that you would trust in Jesus, God's chosen King, and take refuge in Him rather than resisting His rule.

2. Thank God for a growing number of Growth Group leaders. Pray that that the Growth Team would invest well in our GG Leaders.
